Juilliard International Jazz Camp

The Juilliard International Jazz Camp (J.I.J.C.) is a one-week program for middle school and high school students, grades 6 to 12, who are dedicated, disciplined, and passionate about jazz. In collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the J.I.J.C. is located at Camp Brown in Scotland, MD. The program is designed to give young jazz musicians a taste of what a Juilliard Jazz student's life is all about: refining technique, performance, and broadening understanding of various jazz styles. Teachers include members of the Juilliard Jazz Division faculty, as well as Juilliard students.
Instruments for the Juilliard International Jazz Camp: Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Piano, Double Bass, Electric Bass, and Drums. Please note:
- Guitar, Double Bass, and Electric Bass students are required to bring their own amp and pick-up cables to all rehearsals and performances.
- There is no vocal program.

Juilliard Jazz Workshop at Snow College
The sixth annual Juilliard Jazz Workshop at Snow College will be held July 12-17, 2010 at Snow College, in Ephraim, Utah. The workshop is available for students ages 14-college.
The workshop provides students with access to exceptional faculty and a chance to learn in an intensive, focused environment. A hallmark of this workshop is the personalized atmosphere and opportunity for interaction with workshop faculty. Instruction includes big band and combo rehearsals, master classes, listening sessions, private lessons, music technology, and improvisation.
Students will have an opportunity to attend two concerts presented by the workshop faculty and participate in a student concert at the end of the workshop.
