Description:

This course is designed to prepare the performing musician for today's demanding and diverse industry in a variety of settings. Topics to be addressed include stage etiquette; creating set lists, stage plots, and backline lists; what is a rider and how to create one; rehearsal techniques and performance practices; getting to know and communicating with your audience; and marketing yourself and your career. Students will also put together marketing plans for their groups and recording projects.
